SRA's Learning System employs a powerful database of information which updates instantly as students learn. To help educators review and understand student data, as well as customize and individualize many aspects of the teaching products, SRA has created a private site for every educator, full of the tools necessary to maximize the educational experience.
Curriculum Manager lets educators vary the curriculum scope for individual students or classes as a whole. They can use the default curriculum, or modify and personalize the sequence of curriculum objects to provide the most beneficial program for each learner. By using this tool educators can also align the SRA curriculum to their own classroom teaching schedule.
This section contains a set of simple administrative tools which allow educators to add students and group them in classes for use in the Learning System. Classroom Manager also contains the controls for viewing and changing student passwords, setting the session times, and other necessary actions.
Progress Manager shows educators exactly how their students are doing. It translates information gathered during the students' use of the program into meaningful reports reflecting and measuring progress, both individually and comparatively. Educators can review overall progress or look at specific questions and answers. Reports can even display progress relative to regional standards. This feature is an essential analytical toolkit for administrators and educators concerned about accountability and standards achievement.
If educators are looking to get just a little more out of our curriculum, this section contains lesson plans, strategies, and other resources to provide reinforcement, extension and enrichment for students using our Learning System. Recognizing that not all students learn in the same way, we have begun to compile these resources so that educators have alternative, hands-on strategies they can use to provide additional success for their students.
